Lite a Life Ceremony

  Lite a Life TreeSt. Peter's Hospital Foundation's annual Lite a Life event, the only fund-raising event for Hospice of St. Peter's, is Thursday, Dec. 8, 4:30 p.m., at the Helena Civic Center.  All are invited to light a holiday bulb in memory or in honor of a loved one and support Hospice.  Hospice helps make the lives of the terminally ill as full, comfortable, and meaningful as possible.  To make a contribution to Lite a Life, click here.  ( 2010 Lite a Life Tree pictured.)  

Nutrition Award

  St. Peter's Nutrition Services Department is a winner in the Fifth Annual Whole Grain Challenge, sponsored by Today Oldways, a non-profit dedicated to encouraging all food service outlets to create original and compelling ways to promote whole grain awareness.  St. Peter's won in the healthcare category for providing free whole grain cooking demonstrations and recipes to the public.  Click here for the winning recipe.

Cardiology Clinic Moves   

  St. Peter's Cardiology clinic is now located on the second floor of the St. Peter's Medical Group building, across Broadway from the hospital.  Cardiologists Dr. Godlewski, Dr. Kingsley, and Dr. Ribic will continue to provide excellent care in the new location, which includes a new expanded cardiac testing area.  The number for appointments remains the same:  457-4180.

Pete's Place Celebrates   

  Congratulations to Pete's Place Day Care which celebrated its 25th anniversary on November 3.  Pete's Place has served close to 1,200 hospital families by being the first employer operated child care center in Helena and possibly the state.  Read more about the dedicated staff of Pete's Place, here.

Gala Raises Important Funds  

  Thank you to all who helped raise about $58,000 for the expanded Cancer Treatment Center by attending or volunteering at St. Peter's Foundation gala held October 29.
