With the start of summer, many people are looking for some "down time." Kids are out of school; the weather is warmer; pools are open; travel can be easier with no snow on the roads (let's not mention the road construction!); not to mention the three upcoming summer holidays.
Erin Vogt, Care Advocate at Janna Dutton and Associates. | However, for family caregivers, there probably is no down time. For many, the need for the family care-receiver to have care, advocacy, and assistance knows no season.
What about the family caregiver??? Family caregivers also need to have care (maybe of a different nature than our loved ones), advocacy, and assistance, regardless of the season.
The National Family Caregivers Association is an association that I recommend we all be involved with!!!
