PUBLIC LECTURE - TODAY
Project Prakash:
Combining Science
& Service

Dr Pawan Sinha, MIT
H. Lyman Hooker Distinguished Visiting Professor

TODAY:
Thursday April 26

7pm
Gilmour Hall Room 111

Everyone is welcome to join us for an inspiring talk that blends science and humanitarianism. There will be coffee and cookies before the talk beginning at 6:45.

'Prakash' in Sanskrit means light.
The goal of Project Prakash is to bring light into the lives of curably blind children and, in so doing, illuminate some of the most fundamental scientific questions about how the brain develops and learns to see.

Dr Sinha's work to help blind children in India is truly remarkable.  Come and learn about this compelling story of incredible compassion.

Pawan brings hope to children and shows the power of combining science and service to everyone.

We look forward to seeing you all at the talk and at the reception following the talk today.

Regards

Kathy
