Dear MiNDS students & faculty,

I am pleased to invite you to attend the MiNDS Colloquium TOMORROW Thursday October 20th at 3:00 in HSC 4E20. Bring your coffee cup for coffee and cookies before the talk at 2:45.

Dr. Marco Leyton's research uses brain imaging techniques (PET & MRI) and psychopharmacology to investigate the neurobiology of mood and motivational states, and their relevance for addiction, depression, and impulse-control disorders.

Since 1997 Dr Leyton has been on faculty at McGill University where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neurology & Neurosurgery. He holds a William Dawson research chair, is currently President-of the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP), and is a founding member of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) to the Canadian Center on Substance Abuse (CCSA), an advisory body to the federal Health Minister.
