2012 Social Security Wage Base

The Social Security Administration announced the maximum amount of earnings subject to Social Security will increase to $110,000 in 2012.  The Social Security wage base was $106,800 in 2010 and 2011.

 

The Social Security wage base limits the amount of earnings subject to social security taxation for a given year.
