I attended a CareerOne workshop recently regarding the advantages of print advertising and I have to say, the figures are overwhelming. It seems to be a common misconception that print advertising is a dying medium for locating talent, but not so says this lowly Recruiter. It has been surveyed extensively by the team at CareerOne and they report that a whopping 86% of all job seekers read the newspaper every week. They also revealed that 800,000 Queenslanders read the Courier Mail specifically. So why the widespread reluctance to advertise roles in print?
"The cost," I hear you all scream collectively! Ahh well, I have solved that wee issue for you.
