We enjoyed our time at the World Pastry Forum this year.  We were joined at our booth by Jorg Amsler, who masterfully demonstrated Satin Ice techniques.  Hands-on classes were superbly presented by a fantastic team of artists and additional lectures and seminars were held to round out the events. 

The Sugar Arts Institute was formally launched and we wish them the greatest success.   Congratulations to all the competitors who worked so hard during the World Pastry Team Championship.  Their designs were magnificent.

We'll see you at ICES!

To help promote Icing Smiles, Cake Sculptor Paul Joachim created a life-size cake of Ellen DeGeneres and shared it with a group of Icing Smiles children.  You've gotta see this  fantastic video.  Paul did send this video to the Ellen DeGeneres Show but has not heard back from them.  We thought this deserved to be shared - pass it on!


Icing SmilesIcing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child.
