Great North Property Management, Inc.
Lou Gargiulo, CEO
Dear Valued Home Owner,

As the long days of summer turn to cool fall nights, transition is in the air.  Young people are headed back to school, election season is underway and folks are getting ready for a new season.

At Great North, we spent the summer providing superior service to our clients while preparing to move our corporate headquarters from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Exeter, New Hampshire.  The preparation and planning for this move was extensive.  I am proud to report that the move was seamless.  The entire Great North team worked hard to ensure minimal interruption to our clients.  We are all relieved to be settling into a much more functional, practical and professional office space.  As the work flows in our new office, it is assuring that this transition and the ability to work more efficientily and effectively will ulitmately help us serve you better.

With days growing shorter and board meetings getting scheduled for the months ahead, please remember that our space is your space.  We invite you to schedule association board meetings at our new office located on 3 Holland Way in Exeter, New Hampshire.  In the meantime, please remember how committed we are to meeting all of your association's needs and how grateful we are for the opportunity to continue serving you this and every season.

Sincerely,
Lou Gargiulo, CEO
Great North Property Management

WE'VE MOVED

We're in!  Great North Property Managment is proud to announce that we've completed the move to our new headquarters located at
3 Holland Way in Exeter, NH.

We are growing as the number of community and co-op associations we manage has grown.  As everyone can appreciate the decision to move is never an easy one to make, but it was necessary to accommodate the demands of our business.

The move to our new headquarters has also allowed us to update and improve our technology, client meeting spaces, security and the overall efficiency of our operation so we can better serve you.
Our new location also provides easy access to both Interstate 95 and to NH Route 101: New Hampshire's only East-West highway.

Whether you are visiting us or we are visiting you, you'll find us easy to reach, accessible and readily available.  We also look forward to making conference room space available to your association for board meetings.
Please stop by our Holland Way office at any time.  We would love to show you around and personally introduce you to all of the great people who contribute to making us so good at what we do.
Rest assured, we are maintaining our satellite offices in Nashua and Bretton Woods in New Hampshire and in Peabody, Massachusetts.  Our phone numbers will all stay the same, but note that our new address for the corporate headquarters is:

Great North Property Managment
3 Holland Way
Suite #201
Exeter, NH 03833

And as always, thank you for trusting your property managment to Great North.
YOUR VOICE COUNTS!
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD!

If it there is one thing we have learned at Great North over the 20 years we have been in business, it is that property management is all about people.  Every day, employees at Great North speak to hundreds of Association board members, home owners, vendors and other partners in the field.  Lately, we have heard from many people who are frustrated with elected officials and the politically charged environment we are living in today.

Many people have lost confidence in the process and believe that their vote does not count and their voice does not matter.  Unfortunately, these people are choosing not to participate, despite the fact that our elected officials, from local planning and zoning board members to the members of the congressional delegation, make decisions that directly impact every aspect of our lives.

We are here to remind you that your voice does matter and we want to encourage you to make sure your vote is counted.  To be effective as an advocate, candidate or community leader, you need to remember that there is no substitute for really hard work.   Change doesn't just happen on it's own.  Hard working people make it happen.  People just like you.

Instead of bottling your frustration up at home, step out and attend public forums, candidate nights, town hall meetings and community meetings.  Get to know your elected officials and candidates.  To be successful, public officials need the help of citizens like you.  It is always more effective, not to mention gratifying, to work hard for a cause or a candidate than it is to complain and criticize.

Election season is upon us.  Given all of the television ads, I am sure you do not need to be reminded.  During this time, we just wanted to acknowledge that strength comes in numbers.  Consider inviting those running for office to come to your association and meet the people living in your community.  Remember, your elected officials are making decisions which directly affect your association.  In the coming weeks, make sure that these people hear from you.
CELEBRATING CORPORATE MILESTONES
SHARING LESSONS LEARNED

Great North is celebrating 20 years in the property management business this year.  In commemoration this milestone, we are going to highlight many lessons we have learned in the property management business over the years.  We also want to highlight the remarkably devoted and talented people who have enabled us to succeed in this business for two decades.

The first lesson we would like to share is that delivering superior property management services to our clients is about more than having a qualified property manager.  Our property managers are part of a comprehensive team at Great North.  This team includes our highly qualified and committed accounting department, certified maintenance staff and top notch administrative support.  The entire team allows Great North to facilitate and help manage your community with the direction and guidance of your board.
