Intro to Handguns
From a basic overview of handgun types and designs to detailed information about their storage, use & transportation this class is essential if you are new to guns, if you've never taken a professionally taught class, or if it has been a long time since you last handled your guns. Join us on March 18th at 5:30pm for this three hour class. You don't need to own a firearm to attend. You do need to bring your enthusiasm (or perhaps your curiosity). We'll do the rest!

Fundamentals of Marksmanship
This class introduces the student to various stances, grip techniques, trigger control, sighting & aiming, and more. We also introduce the Dry Practice concept and associated safety concerns. This class leaves the student with an understanding of proper techniques to begin shooting well or diagnose shooting problems. Join us on March 20th at 5:30pm.

This class covers a lot of ground quickly - note taking is essential. You need not own a gun nor should you bring one to class.

Semi-Auto Pistol Operation
Our first "bring your gun to class" class, this more advanced curriculum teaches the cycle of operation of a semi-auto pistol, associated malfunctions, and acceptable techniques for getting your gun running again quickly. Part lecture, part hands-on this class is fun and challenging. You'll leave with skills you simply didn't know you needed. You'll leave Trained, Capable and Ready! You must have completed our Intro to Handguns class to attend. Class date is March 25th at 5:30pm.
Continuing Students Price: $55.00
No ammunition is allowed into the training environment. Guns MUST arrive cased and remain so until cleared by our instructional staff. |

Handgun Care & Cleaning
This may be the simplest class that we teach. It sure is the most laid-back. We limit class size to just six students. We roll up our sleeves and get a little dirty. We'll cover our safety lecture, show you how to clear your gun and teach you how to take it apart it for cleaning. Once apart, we'll go through a cleaning process, lubricate it, and reassemble. We'll wrap up with a function check to ensure all your safeties are working. Handgun Care & Cleaning generally runs just an hour or two and is scheduled for March 27th at 5:30pm.
Continuing Student Price: $55
Cost of the class includes a handgun cleaning kit for your caliber gun. No ammunition is allowed into the training environment. Guns MUST arrive cased and remain so until cleared by our instructional staff. |
First Aid & CPR
We've partnered with ECTS to bring you American Heart Association certified First Aid & CPR training in one complete class. The American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR Course is designed to teach lifesaving skills of Adult & Child CPR, how to relieve choking (Adults & Children), and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). We add to that the basics of First Aid to give you a well balanced curriculum that earns you a two year First Aid & CPR certificate. Feel confident that you can safe the life of a friend or loved one in the unfortunate event that you're called on to do so. March 31st at 6pm.
