* NEW* Women's Personal Safety Class coming November 7th |
| Awareness, instinct, and mindset are the skills that work together keep a person safe. We'll introduce the student to all three key skills in detail. This is not a martial arts or self defense class, but rather instruction from professionals on how to avoid being victimized. This class is a MUST for women off all ages (and men, too).
$25 per person with advance registration. $35 per person at the door.
I'm very excited about this class! We've worked on this curriculum for nearly a year, bringing elements from many different classes into one succinct class ~ tailored to meet the needs of women. Come an learn how you can be safer every day by using awareness, instinct, and a survival mindset. We'll show you how!
And, because I feel so strongly about this class, we're going to do something special... Teens under 18 are FREE with a paid adult. I would warn, however that there are mature concepts presented. This class is not for young children. |

Introduction to Handguns |
We'll be covering a multitude of topics including Firearm Safety Rules, Safe Gun Handling, Types of Handguns, Gun Selection, Care & Cleaning, and much more.
You don't need to own a gun to come to this class. In fact, this is a great class to get under your belt before buying a gun. Or, if you already own a gun, we're going to give you the knowledge to be SAFE with it. This class is offered monthly. See sidebar for dates/times . |

Fundamentals of Marksmanship |
This class will focus on tried and true techniques that are in wide use throughout the military, law enforcement and firearms training communities. You'll be exposed to different stances, methods of gripping a handgun, trigger control, sight picture, sight alignment, and more. We'll discuss why certain methods work-and why some don't.
Like our Introduction to Handguns class, you don't need to own a gun to come to this class. If you already own a gun, we're going to give you the knowledge you need to become proficient with it. This class is being offered monthly. See sidebar for dates/times. |

I sure think the Women's Personal Safety class and our LFNRA Three Gun Drawing are both EXCITING developments for the fall season!
Our classes are a response to our customers and community members. Many who buy firearms desire to learn more and to learn from professionals. There are also plenty of folks looking for other defensive tools - mace, pepper spray, or combination sprays for instance. And all of us could use an update on how we can be safe and enjoy our community without being afraid. Our classes are developed based on tried and true methods that are taught around the world. We truly enjoy sharing what we know.
I'm pleased to be offering quality firearms and safety training to our community. I hope you're pleased to receive it. Let us know what you're interested in as we run out the clock on 2009 and move into 2010.
