We'll be covering a multitude of topics including Firearm Safety Rules, Safe Gun Handling, Types of Handguns, Gun Selection, Care & Cleaning, and much more.
You don't need to own a gun to come to this class. In fact, this is a great class to get under your belt before buying a gun. Or, if you already own a gun, we're going to give you the knowledge to be SAFE with it. This class is offered monthly. See sidebar for dates/times . |

Fundamentals of Marksmanship |
This class will focus on tried and true techniques that are in wide use throughout the military, law enforcement and firearms training communities. You'll be exposed to different stances, methods of gripping a handgun, trigger control, sight picture, sight alignment, and more. We'll discuss why certain methods work-and why some don't.
Like our Introduction to Handguns class, you don't need to own a gun to come to this class. If you already own a gun, we're going to give you the knowledge you need to become proficient with it. This class is being offered monthly. See sidebar for dates/times. |

Semi-Auto Pistol Operation |
Understanding the Cycle of Operation of an autoloading pistol can mean the difference between a working gun and a paper weight. Learn about common pistol malfunctions, their causes, and safe & efficient methods for clearing the malfunction and getting the gun working again. Students in this class will get hands-on experience working firearms through staged malfunctions in our safe & controlled training environment . Our Introduction to Handguns class is prerequisite for taking this class. This class is offered every other month. See sidebar for dates/times. |

Handgun Care & Cleaning |
|
We'll take the student through clearing, field stripping, cleaning, lubricating, reassembling, and function testing a handgun. YOUR handgun. This is a hands-on class with limited class size to focus our attention on you and your gun. We'll provide all of the cleaning essentials. You bring your unloaded handgun. After a safety review, we'll get down to business and get our hands dirty. Our Introduction to Handguns class is prerequisite for taking this class. This class is offered every other month.
