County by County Update
Antigonish: Seaside's construction crews have been focussing on southwest Antigonish for the past little while. We have successfully planted three poles in the Lochaber area and will soon have the permitting completed for a fourth. From here, we will install our equipment and request a power installation from Nova Scotia Power. Seaside will be hosting a community meeting at the Sylvan Hall in Lochaber on Wednesday Night October 14th at 7:00pm. All are welcome.

Seaside representatives attended a Colchester County Council meeting on Thursday, September 24th, to inform councillors about the situation surrounding signal interference and cooperation among all the Internet service providers in the region.

Cumberland: Installations have steadily rolled out across Cumberland County in recent weeks as a result of the work that has been completed to bring our existing network up to new levels of service. Seaside is planning two community information sessions in the area to explain all of the completed work, and to address any questions from Cumberland residents.

With a successful launch in St. Mary's two months ago, we are continuing to install new customers daily. We will continue to monitor the network. We look forward to completing our work in the New Chester area shortly.

Pictou: Seaside hosted a community meeting on September 17th at the Lyons Brook Community Hall. We updated northern shore residents on when our four structures in this area will be ready to serve. We enjoyed the chance to meet face-to-face, and answer any questions the audience had. The equipment is now mounted on three new structures, and we only await permanent power supply. We should have some very exciting news for Pictou County to report in the next newsletter.
