Seaside in the News!

The following appeared in The Cape Breton Post on Sept. 12, 2009.

"I'd like to give a big thumbs-up to the team at Seaside Wireless Communications Inc. I have lived in dial-up country now for almost six years. We thought there was no hope for high-speed Internet. It was looking pretty bleak, and then we got the word that Seaside high-speed was on its way" ... more.

Seaside in the Community

Seaside just completed a series of successful community meetings in Cape Breton and Guysborough, and many more are planned across our nine counties in the next months. At these meetings, Seaside will provide local residents with up-to-date information on network development progress in your area. We encourage you to attend with friends and neighbours, and hear first-hand when your community will receive Seaside High-Speed Internet. Check our website calendar for the most current information.

County by County Update

Antigonish: The Lochaber Corridor has seen some activity again these past two weeks with the signing of a lease for a site in Loch Katrine. This lease secures the fourth pole for the network in this area. Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Cape Breton: The communities of Eastern Cape Breton will have seen Seaside trucks traversing the area, as we are busy completing installations across this part of the county. We will be adding the communities around Terra Nova and Main-à-Dieu to our "communities served" list very soon. Visit the three C@P Sites in Main-à-Dieu, Marion Bridge, and Millville, to learn more about Seaside High-Speed Internet. Join the high-speed online community, and say goodbye to dial-up! Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Colchester:  There are four towers now in service in the southern Colchester area. Work is completed in this region, so call now to book an installation. Seaside will be attending the meeting of Colchester County Council on September 24th to keep councilors up-to-date on our progress. Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Cumberland: The fix is in! We have received a great deal of positive feedback from those who have been re-aligned to our new towers in the area. Seaside is now able to take more orders from this county, and encourage you to let your friends know we are ready to serve you.

The northwestern parts of Inverness should be hearing from Seaside around Thanksgiving weekend, as we wait on power for our sites. Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Pictou: On Thursday, September 17th, Seaside High-Speed Internet is holding a community meeting to announce high-speed Internet service for parts of central Pictou County. This meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at the Lyons Brook Community Hall, 2399 Route 376 Lyons Brook Road, Pictou County. Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Richmond: Recently, a lease has been signed with a private landowner for our site in Framboise. This will soon serve communities in the area. Click here for a complete list of communities now served.

Victoria: Tarbot and Tarbotvale towers are now complete, so please call us to book an installation appointment.
