Hello there, Titans.

We had an exciting week here at Elkins. Our School Quality Review went smoothly, even when we had a short power outage on Tuesday. The teachers kept the students focused, and learning continued as normal. Our Roswell Cluster Chorus Concert was lovely on Tuesday night. We were so proud of our students and staff this week!

Things to Celebrate:

We are so proud of our students who performed beautifully in last Sunday's Mathnasium 2012 TriMathlon. Congrats to Srishti (Shelly) Seth and Morgan Pickett for placing first and second out of the 6th graders. More details.
I would like to take a moment to thank the Chik-Fil-A at Roswell Town Center for all of their contributions. They recently donated over 500 biscuits for our Honors Breakfasts, nearly $1000 worth of goods. Last year they donated over 2000 biscuits. We appreciate their constant support and celebration of EPMS students.
The EPMS staff took on Webb Bridge Middle School staff in a softball game last night, full of friendly competition. I love to see our staff spending time together in fellowship and fun.

Things to Know:

Please refrain from sending expensive electronic devices to school with your students. Over the last few weeks we have had a few items go missing when students leave them laying on benches or tables, and even a few items lost. Though we have been able to recover most of the devices, I encourage you to talk to your students about leaving these items at home.
