Happy Birthday
New Nathan

Whoever said April is the cruelest month didn't work in the electrical business. July, by far, is one of the toughest. Working in an attic in the height of summer is not fun. During these times, I try to remind myself of the great things in my life. And one of the best is my brother, Nick, whose birthday is this month. I have so many great memories, from bringing the snake home from the creek to lots of fun at Redbirds games. No one could ask for a better brother.
For your birthday, Nick, I wanted you to know how proud I am of all your accomplishments. Just to name a few of the great things your are doing -  V3 Fights, Memphis Grizzlies House and also, Hard Rock Cafe.
It's been a hard year for our family, with the loss of our dad, but you continue on. I know from the bottom of my heart that dad is looking down on you and  guiding you. And like me, he's full of pride. So have a happy one, Nick, and keep up the great work. -- Nathan

POOL LIGHT 2
Summertime and the livin' is easy, especially if you have a pool. And what makes it even better is swimming at night, when the water has cooled down and there's a slight breeze in the air. That can be tough, though, if your pool lighting isn't working.

If this is the case, check the circuit breaker and reset if necessary. Also check the ground fault circuit interrupter and reset. If either of these two solutions doesn't work, it is time to call a professional (like us). We may need to install new bulbs or replace fixtures.

Speaking of pools, several new lighting products have been developed for your backyard haven. Special eco-friendly LEDs are now available for most common pool light fixtures. Also available, solar floating lights that change colors, turning your pool into a nighttime oasis.
If interested in either product or you need help with your pool lighting, give us a call at 901-266-4630. We're always here for you.

Catch the Wave!
bearwaveHave you noticed how gloomy drivers are when they are driving to work in the morning?  Above and Beyond Electric is going to try to change that - at least for commuters. On Friday, July 16th, beginning at 8 a.m., we be will waving and displaying a smile-generating Good Morning banner to greet motorists as they drive by. It's all in fun and an attempt to put a smile on the faces of the back-to-work crowd.

We won't be alone in our quest to put smiles on the faces of passing motorists. For the second year in a row, we will be joining as many as 350 other independent plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical companies across North America that will be participating in International Wave Day, a giant wave across the continent. The international event is being promoted by Nexstar, a professional business training and development association that helps Above and Beyond Electric and other member companies improve their business management and customer service.

Watch for an e-mail in the near future to let you know where we will be and don't forget to wave back!
