The Annual Meeting of Historic Routt County &
The Diamond Window Cabin Volunteer Appreciation Day

Celebrating Partnerships, People & Icons
HRC's Annual Meeting will be at the City of Steamboat's historic Rehder Building (home of the new Steamboat Art Museum) on Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The meeting is open to anyone interested in HRC activities.

Annual Meeting Highlights
  • AWARDS: Special recognition and award presentations, including the Leadership Preservation Award and historic register property owners.
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Updates on HRC projects, including the Diamond Window Cabin, Colorado Mountain College partnership, Hayden survey project and more.
  • SAM UPDATES: Presentation by Shirley Stocks and Susan Dorsey about the Steamboat Art Museum, the Rehder Building, the Rehder Legacy and the Museum's future plans. Participants will be treated to a behind-the scenes tour of the renovated building and will receive an insider's sneak peak of plans and exhibits for the museum!
  • FOOD: No party is complete without food and beverages! Come enjoy dinner and other goodies.

Diamond Window Cabin Volunteer Appreciation Day
Saturday, September 26 at NOON at the Diamond Window Cabin

In keeping with the theme of the annual meeting, the media is invited to help celebrate HRC's tireless volunteers, sponsors, in-kind contributors and those who graciously donated funding for the Diamond Window Cabin project this summer. Join us at the Diamond Window Cabin Saturday, September 26 at NOON for about an hour's worth of light work for those that wish to participate, then a party with beverages and food to toast our supporters and the restored Diamond Window Cabin - standing proud!
