Rasamaya Teacher Training Tuition Module Cost: $250

Registration closes  Wednesday Sept 7th

Food was and should always be pleasurable, sensual, satisfying, social, traditional, comforting, celebratory, familial, and cultural. Much of this has been lost. Americans relationship with food has become quite dysfunctional, stressful, confused, fraught with hidden traps, tricks, and pitfalls - and ultimately very unhealthy. The workshop will be broken into 3 main sections: Plants, Animals, and Lifestyle. Each topic will include a lively and informative lecture and group discussion. Additionally, wonderful yoga asanas and flows promoting and maintaining healthy digestion will be practiced between the first 2 topics. And between the second and third topic, the digestion related meridians (stomach, intestines, and other digestive organs such as kidney, liver, spleen, and bladders) will be nurtured with some yin yoga and gentle self-massaging techniques.

If you plan to attend the full workshop please purchase a two day pass.  If you plan to attend one day please purchase a one day pass.

Dr Suzanne M. M. Young
Zanne (a.k.a. Dr. Suzanne M. M. Young) looks for life in universe working for NASA designing instruments and conducting analytical chemistry experiments off earth. She was the Tactical Science Plan Integrator for the Phoenix Mission that found ice on Mars, and she continues to work on the bio-habitability assessment of Mars. She is also a professor of chemistry and has taught and lectured all over New England, and occasionally abroad. A Ph.D. in Amino acid metabolic mechanisms and isotope chemistry is one of her graduate degrees, making her a resident nutritional biochemist for the studio. She has long been as interested in making the quality of life wonderful and bringing more splendor to lives she touches. After practicing yoga for over a decade, she trained with Carrie in the Rasamayaź 200hr and is delighted to have something more to give to the community now. She believes in balance - balance in body, balance in mind, balance in life, balance in energy. With this quest in her heart, Zanne will be exploring ways to help others find balance and joy through the external and internal journey of yoga. Even more than she enjoys seeking life in the universe, she enjoys making life here sweet and beautiful and invites all to this lovely garden. You can contact her in the studio or at SeaZanne@aol.com
