ABCs of Exploration

Meet Joe Lennox, the author of several books about space flight and space history

The A B C's of Space Exploration is a children's book that will teach the reader about space science, history and technology. It is aimed at fourth grade and up but even adults could learn a great deal about space science from reading it. "It's not rocket science" is the theme of this book. Complicated and complex concepts are written about in plain and easy to understand language and everyday experiences and products are used to simply explain rocket science so anyone can understand it.

The history of the space program is covered from Sputnik up to the International Space Station.

The benefits of space exploration and working in the space program are written about extensively and the book closes with a motivational message concerning the tremendous importance of reading as well as overcoming obstacles to achieve one's  goals.

Along with over 200 historical pictures, charts, diagrams and drawings there are 120 pages plus 34 pages that include, a glossary of space terms, a space time-line, spacecraft illustrations, a reading list and a list of space related websites.

Rocket science was never so simple!!
