Dear Ramapo Property Owner:
Property taxes are a critical part of your family budget. To assure Ramapo taxpayers that their assessments are fair and accurate, the Town has initiated a new pilot program called the "Assessment Information Project." This program is designed to provide Town property owners with a better understanding of their property assessment and the grievance process.
The major aspects of our new program are:

May 3 - Finkelstein Library - 7:00 pm
May 4 - Suffern Library - 6:45 pm
May 9 - Ramapo Town Hall - 12:00 noon
May 10 - Ramapo Town Hall - 7:00 pm
· Grievance Filing Period:
April 28 - May 24, 2011
Additional staff will be available in Town Hall
to assist residents filing grievances
Typically, condo owners file as a group. However, if the Board or an individual condo owner has any questions or needs help, call our Assessor, Scott Shedler, directly at 845-357-5100 Ext. 255.
