No Expo this Year; Annual Dinner to Provide Additional Marketing Opportunities! Some of you may already be aware, but our Annual Business Expo & Community Showcase will not be taking place this year. Our Board of Directors made the official decision in late July. We were seeing a decline in participation and involvement over the last couple of years and decided it was time to do some revamping and improvement. When the businesses feel they are not benefiting from the event, we need to look at factors to help increase our audience and make the event more effective. The event has also always been within one month of our Annual Business Banquet and Member Appreciation Dinner. We are hoping it takes some of the financial burden, especially towards the holidays, off of our members and community guests to focus on one major event instead of two. We will be having a Silent Auction again this year at the Annual Dinner. The committee is working on finalizing additional sponsorship and advertising opportunities to give businesses, that were counting on the Expo, an opportunity to showcase in a different medium at the Annual Dinner. More details to follow! We want to thank you for your understanding and save the date for the November 4th Annual Dinner! It's going to be a memorable event!
