In addition to the firstCall to Action we have sent you, we need your assistance with the following.
Please call Governor Haley's office at 803-734-2100. Ask to speak to the Governor. When you are told she is not available, tell them you want to leave a message. The best time to call the Governor's office will be Friday, March 9th.
Please put the below examplein your own words so every message will not be the same.
We need every dentist in the State to call about this IMPORTANT ISSUE.
EXAMPLE:
"I am Dr. Joe Smith, a dentist in Greenville. I am very concerned that the Governor's Department of Health and Human Services has chosen not to restore the Medicaid Adult Dental Program. I am also concerned that the Ways and Means Committee did not fund it. Please urge the legislature to find money to restore this important part of Medicaid. " |
