Fluoridation Training
The SCDA has planned a fluoride training event:
Friday, July 15, 2011 9 AM-2 PM Registration begins at 8:30 AM EdVenture · 211 Gervais St., Columbia SC 29201 4 CEUs
The event is free of charge. Lunch will be provided by SCDA.
The lecture will contain information on community water fluoridation and its oral health benefits. After completing this training, dentists will know how to speak when interviewed by the press and media regarding fluoridation issues and will be able to answer questions when dealing with those opposed to fluoridation. Jane McGinley and Leslee Williams from the ADA have years of combined experience teaching dentists to address community water fluoridation and its concerns.
