Several years ago, the SCDA conducted a membership wide survey that resulted in a very high return rate for surveys.  From that, the SCDA and SCDA Member Benefits Group were able to make some changes to address the survey responses.  Believe it or not, 5 years have passed and it is now time for another survey.  The SCDA is using the same professionals as last time and the survey will be mailed in the coming weeks.  Please be looking for it and please take the time to complete it.  This is your association and we can only make it better by hearing what you think about certain subjects like the convention, communications, benefits, etc.  The survey will be rather lengthy, but worth the time to fill it out and return.  The SCDA values your input!

The SCDA and the SCDA DenPAC have planned a legislative breakfast for Wednesday, April 6, 2011.  This is a very important event and all SCDA members are invited.  If you are not a contact dentist, we would still like to have you present.  The event will be 8:00-10:00 am in Room 112 of the Blatt Building at the Statehouse Complex.  RSVP to Phil Latham at lathamp@scda.org or by calling 803-750-2277.

Plans for the third DAD Project are underway.  The project will be held in Florence, SC, August 25-27, 2011 at the Florence Civic Center.  A volunteer form is posted on the SCDA website and hotel information is posted also.  Sign up now and plan to get involved.
