The SCDA and the SCDA DenPac have planned a legislative breakfast for Thursday, April 15, 2010. This is a very important event and all SCDA members are invited. If you are not a contact dentist, we would still like to have you present. The event will be 8:00 - 10:00 am in Room 112 of the Blatt Building at the Statehouse Complex. What if someone screened needs follow up? Recommend www.entnet.org which searches for Board-certified ENTs by zip code. Encourage follow-up with a primary care provider. Bring a list of area resources to the screening. Remember, the screening is educational in purpose and therefore free of liability. What kinds of events take place during OHANCAW? Community education, tennis tournaments, walkathons, rock concerts, research days, educational booths, & survivor banquets are all OHANCAW events. Contact info@ohancaw.com to find out more. |

Plans for the second DAD Project are underway. The project will be held in Greenville, SC, August 5-7, 2010 at the Carolina First Center. A volunteer form and hotel information are posted on the SCDA website. Plan to get involved now. | |
