About the Dodge WC-52

The Dodge 3/4 Ton Truck was used throughout the European and Pacific theaters during World War II as essential weapons transports.

The WC-52 was an open cab 3/4 ton pickup truck with a cloth canopy. The front of the bed was fitted with a machine gun mount that could support an M1918, M1919 or Browning M2. It is also fitted with a Braden MU-2 winch for a 57mm M1 and crew.

This vehicle first appeared last December as a Tao Wan Asian market exclusive. It is now being made available to the United States by arrangement directly from Toy Model, the manufacturer of the Tao Wan brand. The last 40 pieces in Toy Model's inventory are being purchased by the distributor and are expected to land here in August.

This item has already been produced and its availability is even more limited than the standard Tao Wan release.
