With 2010
in full swing we wanted update you on the latest at Harvest
Technologies.
In spite of the recession in 2009, we have expanded our additive
manufacturing
capacity considerably and will be moving into a new 40,000 square foot
facility
this spring.
Additionally we
have
implemented significant upgrades to our existing fleet of machines which
have
increased our throughput and further improved our quality.
Below are some highlights for your review.
Added
2 more laser sintering systems and an ultra high resolution ProJet 3000 HD
bringing our total fleet count to 23 systems
Installed
digital scanning systems on 2 of our SLS platforms to for greater speed,
accuracy and predictability
Developed
proprietary new rigid, but flexible and tough SLS Composite XT material
Collaborating
in R&D initiative to develop a new MultiZone quartz heater system for
better thermal control of SLS platforms
Developed
proprietary build optimization techniques for improved build speed and superior
mechanical properties
Recertified
AS9100/ISO 9000b quality system in December with 94+ rating
Have
begun selling and servicing ProJet™ and V-Flash™ 3D modeling systems
