Brooks will be discussing her novel March, which won her the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction in 2006. Based on the father character in Louisa May Alcott's beloved Little Women, Brooks tells the story of a man who leaves his family behind for the Union cause.

National Gaming Day Celebration 

Saturday, November 12, 12-4pm

Celebrate National Gaming Day with thousands of other libraries across the country!  This event features lots of awesome gaming opportunities, including a nationwide Super Smash Brothers tournament (qualifiers begin at noon) and a national Frogger high score contest (all afternoon). Miscellaneous video games, board games, and card games will be available for free play throughout the event.

All ages are welcome and no registration is necessary. Come out and play!
