Book Drive Continues: 2500 Books for 2500 Kids
June 1 - July 26
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee will sponsor a 2011 book drive benefitting the Fayetteville Public Library. You may donate a new or very gently used book at the Children's desk. Most needed books are picture books, chapter books and books for teens. Donated books will be given to children and teens participating in the library's Summer Reading Club, Books for Borrowing and Reading Roadshow programs.

McCoy discusses his new book, Tent Number 8: The 1977 Girl Scout Murders & the Trial of Gene Leroy Hart.
McCoy, a former criminal defense attorney, has written a book about the murders of three girls at Camp Scott in the early morning hours of June 14, 1977 and the trial of a man many say was innocent. The unsolved case still haunts the community of Locust Grove, OK and once captivated the nation.
