Author Talk with Historian Charles Robinson

Proposal Writing Basics
Monday, May 23, 1 to 3:30 pm, Walker Community Room: Participants will learn the basics of grant-seeking for non-profit organizations, including the elements to include in a standard foundation proposal and tips for making each proposal strong. Piano Concert Celebrating Arkansas Composers

Summer Reading Club Sign Up Begins
Sunday, May 1, Children's Desk and at www.faylib.org: Sign up begins for the 10-week Summer Reading Club program. The programs, for children from preschool through 12th grade, will have a two-day kick off, June 3 & 4 and continue into August. Weekly events for children will revolve around the theme, "One World Many Stories." Teen events will be themed "You Are Here." The events are free. For more information, click here.
Partners in Play
Saturday, May 7, 10:30 am, Wal-Mart Storytime Room: Partners in play brings stories to life through drama and playful learning. For children 3-to-5-years old. The program is free and open to the public. For more information, click here.
