Time Saving Tips That Really Work
As some of you know, I have been enjoying the miraculous experience of motherhood for the first time this summer. As a new mom, wife and business owner I am truly learning what it means to cherish each moment. When time is at a premium, here are some tips for staying sane that have worked for me.
Banking and Bill Paying
Automate as many bill payments as possible and opt for paperless billing where available. Eliminate unnecessary bank accounts and credit cards.
Cost Versus Convenience
Skip big box stores in search of the best price. What you'll save in time by going to your local hardware store is worth the seven dollar savings on a shovel.
Use Technology to Your Advantage
Don't be a slave to your email, PDA or telephone. Enjoy scheduled family time and productive work time by ignoring rings and beeps and returning calls and messages when it's convenient for you.
Do What You Do Best and Get Help with the Rest
For me, these tasks include bookkeeping, filing, paperwork and some housekeeping duties.

Make your business card work harder
Here are some of our favourite ways to utilize the reverse side of your business card. Try implementing one of these "call to action" ideas on your next card and let us know if you see some measurable results.
1. Coupon
Redeem for "One Week Free" or "Half Hour Consultation" or "Complimentary Analysis" - customize it to suit your business.
2. Referral
Include a "referred by" space to encourage your existing clients to pass along your name. This is a great way to track where your business is coming from and to reward the people that are singing your praises.
3. Punch Card
Be creative and think about which of your services could be offered as a "10th one free" sort of deal, like a coffee card loyalty program.
4. Scratch & Win
A unique way to advertise a variety of products and services. Be careful to limit people to one card each.
