A Great Logo Must Represent the Company - Sometimes people create logos that they absolutely fall in love with, but they have no relevance to their business at all. The key to a successful logo is to ensure it reflects your identity, tone and service. Of course you still need to be happy with its look and feel, but your logo should be made to fit your business.

Our designers break the daunting task into simple steps. Take a look at how Stylish Spaces was created through our multiphase process.
First, the client's needs are determined through a consultation and a thorough questionaire as well as open communication with the designers at Meringue3.14.
Next, drafts are created and compiled by two professional designers, ensuring the client a wide variety of concepts based on their initial input. Click here to view the array of options presented to the client in the first round of drafts.
In this case, we also helped her develop a name and tagline, both integral to the brand process. We release all logo files with tag separately, since some items won't need the tagline on them. Click here to view the tagline development phase.
We go through five steps to reach the final brand. Once the final logo is achieved, we release all industry standard file formats to the client for future use of their brand as they wish. Active clients of Meringue3.14 have their logos archived at our offices, readily accessible should you lose or misplace your copy or require assistance in providing artwork for production. So far we've carried the Stylish Spaces brand into a business card design and a website template. We are currently working on a client "look book" and newsletter template to round out their marketing tool kit.

Stylish Spaces
Stylish Spaces is a Calgary based interior design firm that specializes in designing stylish and cohesive interiors for both residential and commercial clients. We recently worked with owner and Interior Designer, Shelley Heath, to create and launch a brand for the new company.
the brand challenge:
To help Shelley develop a name, a logo and tagline to best suit her company. When working with a client to name a company, we have to think laterally - is it catchy? is it descriptive? is it unique? is it available?
the design challenge: Shelley's unique background in Feng Shui design principles sets her company apart from other design firms and needed to be reflected in the branding. She didn't want this to be an emphasis, so we focused on developing a balanced logo that had a touch of energy.
