Since the honorable Uncle Frank was issued # 3327 in 1979, 13,250 numbers have been issued over the 30 years. The membership then was approximately 1300 and today 2593.
There were 2287 beginning this decade and 2565 ending last month for a gain of 278.
During this current tenure from January 2004 with 336 Class members we reached a high of 443 in 2008 and today have 390. Since the Class starting recording non members last year into the Registry of EC12s, the membership stands at 458.
Communications, organization, an active activities program and a visible presence before RC model sailing interests has provided a benefit to the members and brought friends to your playgrounds.

Boulevard.

Raleigh   Club Registry
The Class is currently building a registry of clubs that sail the EC12. If your club is not in the listing, please forward the needed information to the Class for posting.
Making your club and the Class more visible through this resource to the public will bring more people to our playgrounds and promote RC sailing. This will also increase our fun and the fellowship with others.
Additionally for those that have websites, the Class would like to send you this Newsletter sign up link to be placed on your site. This can be seen on the Class site in theEC12Net page. This will increase the exposure to your club and provide a resource for the public and members of other classes.
This is part of another program along with advertising and visibility in other markets what the Class can provide for those interested in RC model sailing.

We are going to do this again this year. Take your best images from anywhere about the EC12 and the people. Send them to Mike Cavanaugh at State College. The rules are simple and this should be fun. The prize is a free AMYA membership of your choosing or renewal. Check out this link for more information, contact and rules.
