2010
We have a full year of activities planned again for this year.  It begins next week with the Pour Party in Mount Laurel. Racing starts in February at PBG.
The list posted on the AMYA site is most impressive for one class. I hope you enjoy the year.
The Annapolis venue worked out so well they will do it again and this time with the J Class attending.
Stowe will move from its longtime venue at the Commodores Inn to Waterbury State Park for the Green Mountain and NCR.

Another motion was submitted to the Board of Directors by Jack Wubbe for Region 3 to separate  Florida and the Virgin Islands from that Region into Region 7. Region 5 Director Ray Seta seconded.
A similar motion was denied last year. This time it passed and will now be on the 2010 ballot in the Fall to the membership.
Here is how they voted: Yes; R2 Brawner, R3 Wubbe, R4 Zemke, R5 Seta, R6 Eger and Treasurer Skerry. No; President Maxson, VP Carr and R1 Linville.
clevis fitting EC12.Info
The site is now 10 years old. This was the first such site for RC sailing building that I known to me. The original content was building without any access to a real EC12. When travels to the East Coast began in 2000 the perspectives changed.

Much of it has been revised and refreshed in the last 45 days. However, the site is becoming to limited to what I do and use on the racing circuit. I think it is fair to say that what is seen on the site is a good approach to a reliable quality boat for fleet racing. It could become dated and is certainly finite in the time devoted to its care.

I am interested in hosting building and racing articles on the site outside what is normally done. This would broaden the sharing and the menu of the content. This interest is for photo essays like the theme on the site and for any building project undertaken with text content on specific subjects. In particular need are new thoughts for round booms and sharing for rigging the Goldspar boom. Additionally, it would be nice for new articles on racing, tuning and detailed briefs on tell tales and other signals of sail performance.

A special section will be provided that will list the projects through links that will also appear on the same subject page in the site. I would also like to hear your thoughts and suggestions in the meantime.
