It has been noted on the Home page of the AMYA that Webmaster Phil Sarelis has resigned. It is my understanding that a transition team is presently handling Website duties.

Chuck Buzek resigned as AMYA VP and Rod Carr has been appointed to the vacancy.

 Class Photo Site
I am looking for a volunteer to set up a Class photo site on one of the more popular hosts, like Picasa, for EC12 regatta and event photo albums.

Owners Card Class Registry Online
The Class Boat Owners Registry will now be prepared in PDF format at the end of each month and posted to the Class site. This is a public document and can be saved to your machine. There will be two files, one listed in YRN order and another in Last Name order. These files have limited search features but will help the members and buyers with questions regarding boat registration information that is recorded.
Please note this public listing does not include all the information within the Registry. Personal information has been removed.
The Registry information is linked above and located in the Administration dropdown menu. Please read additional information on the site.

  Nationals Entry
The entry period for the annual event is in progress till October 2. You can follow the entry names on 12 Discussions in the Regatta section. You can find the NOR and entry forms on the event website. The Who's Coming list will not be completed till after the entry deadline.
You will notice in the entry posting in the forum a separation of those on the qualified list and those not. Do not be concerned with this. The process is for establishing priorities in the entry process for an event that could be receive more entries than our logistical limit of 52 boats. We are expecting this event to oversubscribe. If you want to come to this event, forget all this and send in the entry with payment and please do it now. It helps the planners to have 70 people on the list by next weekend.
resort hotel Nationals Accommodations
The Comfort Suites World golf Village is a resort venue with all services needed by the Class for a major event. All regatta and social events will be held on the property. Touring specials being arranged in St. Augustine will depart from the hotel. One of the conference rooms has been provided for meetings, seminars, Class Secretary's office and boat storage during the event. This is part of the package arrangements made by Joe Walter and staff for our convenience in having an accommodation central to our activities. Boat and gear storage will only be available to hotel guests. The special low room rate is only available to those participating in the event.
We are expecting to have a full roster of competitors. The Race Committee and the hotel management are expecting entries will book their stay at the hotel in support of the Class and the management offers. This is important to the Class in our relations with such locations during our visit and in the future.
Visit the Event Website and the Venue and Hotel pages. It is a good value. It is a big deal. Booking your stay at the Comfort Suites now is important to the Class and the final arrangements. It is easy to do and the commitment only begins when you arrive.

  RMG SmartWinch
Those visiting the world's most propular sail winch have noticed the changes. Rob Guyatt is in the process of establishing an e-business website that is attractive and professional. All products and informational pages are all accessed from the Home page. Ordering will be simple and secure when completed. It is a nice site to visit for the latest information on the products.
   RMG continues to move ahead.
Sailing Schedule Stuff
September is the Thunder Mug in New England and the Sun City-Hilton Head annual event where Noseems lurk. Get your hotel reservations and fire up the GPS.
Brace yourself for October. If you cannot find a regatta to go to then you are not on this planet. Columbia, The Villages, Wisteria Cup and Annapolis. The latter is a new and great venue at Sandy Point. Then the top sailors in our class will be in Charleston for the EC12 Worlds...good watching too.
Please check the Florida website for all information on regattas in that state.
