GHOST HUNTERS WATCH PARTY AT THE MISSOURI STATE PENITENTIARY

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, October 21st, 2011 - The Jefferson City Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is extending an open invitation to paranormal enthusiasts both near and far. If you are a fan of the hit television show Ghost Hunters, or would simply like to enjoy a chilling experience inside the walls of the Missouri State Penitentiary, then this event is not to be missed!
In June, members of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) spent a week investigating at the Missouri State Penitentiary (MSP). The findings from MSP will be featured on an episode of the SyFy channel's hit show Ghost Hunters on November 2nd at 8:00 p.m.
In conjunction with the airing of the MSP episode, the Jefferson City Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting a watch party on November 2nd at the Missouri State Penitentiary. Ghost Hunters will be shown at 8:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. The television show will be played on large screen splendor in the prison's historic A-hall, which at one time housed approximately 1,000 prisoners and the dungeon cells.
Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased online at www.MissouriPenTours.com. Admission is $5.00. The CVB will be selling popcorn, candy, cookies, soda and water at the event. MSP souvenirs will be available as well.
No outside food or drink is allowed. NO ALCOHOL is allowed. No costumes allowed. Children must be 14 years of age or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
