A Note from Anne and Ann:
| | With the holiday season upon us, we enter a time where there is joy in celebration, and we'd like to pause to remember the people who have touched our lives. It is difficult to adequately express our appreciation to all of our volunteers, donors, event hosts, memorial donors, and our board of directors for all of their generosity. All of you are crucial to the success of Ann's Hope, and we send you our heartfelt gratitude and thanks.

As 2010 draws to a close, we are once again humbled, grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity of those who contribute to Ann's Hope Foundation. Ann's Hope Foundation is truly a unique organization. It began 5 years ago as way for Anne Frentzel and Ann Harrington to honor Anne's father, Richard Cibula, and Ann's brother, Craig Harasha, who both lost their lives to melanoma. It has grown into a family of people who have had their lives changed because of melanoma. In the five years since the inception of Ann's Hope Foundation, the organization has become a support system; a place to grieve, a place to honor, a place to remember the lives of loved ones who lost their battle to melanoma. But, it has also become a place of hope...a place of opportunity, a place to cheer on those who are beating this disease or working each day to find a cure, and a place to work together to find a CURE for melanoma. This organization started with a small desire, to increase awareness, raise funds for research and to educate people on the dangers of melanoma. This desire has inspired others who have the same goal to work together to make change! Because of each and every one of you, we can proudly report that we have given away $700,000 in research and education grants. Together, we are making a difference...with hope comes funds, with funds come research, and with research comes a CURE. Each dollar we raise brings hope to those with melanoma. Please help us reach our goal of giving away $1,000,000 in research grants by the end of 2011! Thank you for all you have given to Ann's Hope Foundation, your time, your resources, your donations! We wish you and yours a blessed holiday season, health, hope and happiness in the coming year.
