Emily Black's Appearance on NBC
Emily Black, 25 year old melanoma warrior, was featured on NBC Nightly News. Emily was the 2009 Block Melanoma Run/Walk Honorary Survivor. She is a true fighter and warrior who has been at battle for over four years against this disease.

A huge thank you to all who attended and donated to the "Night of Hope" gala in memory and honor of Faye Gehl. The party was hosted and sponsored by the John Gehl family, and Ann's Hope Foundation raised $250,000!! Our gratitude and thanks to the Gehl family and all who attended the event! An evening of wine tasting, appetizers and music to support melanoma research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center, cost of the event is $50 per person. Invitations and reply card can be downloaded from the Ann's Hope web site. Ann's Hope Foundation Grants

Grants Awarded for $200,000 for Melanoma Research

Ann's Hope is excited to announce that they will be awarding $200,000 in grants for melanoma research.  These grants include the following:Grant Presentation
  • $75,000 to Dr. Hwang at Medical College of Wisconsin directed to a study for improving immunotherapy for melanoma patients; pre-clinical research.
  • $125,000 to Dr. Albertini at the UW Carbone Cancer Center for the continuation of a study that has been funded by Ann's Hope in the past and investigation of a melanoma vaccine.  This funding will support the ability to take individual samples from patients for testing.
