The new load of Swiss Steamed Pear finally arrived at the shop!
A very traditional "woodworker's wood", Swiss pear is a delightful material to work with and has been one of our best selling woods the past few months.
Luckily this stock is still available to at the low price of only $9/BF (50% off our regular price!)

Swiss Pear and Asian Striped Ebony Cabinets by Jeff Nilson
Talk about good timing!
Jeff Nilson's recently completed cabinets are a great example of why Swiss Pear is such a highly prized wood among the woodworking community.
The bookmatched raised panels do an excellent job of showcasing the fine grain and radiant finish of this sought after exotic species.
Jeff Nilson of Nilson Winter Construction also complemented these incredible looking panels with grain matched rails and stiles of Asian Striped Ebony.
We personally think these cabinets look amazing!
