Character Building Through Sportssoccer picture

When your child participates in a sport here at the Victory YMCA they learn not only the fundamentals of the game but also important character values such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

The Youth Super Sports program incorporates all of these and more. Beginning in the fall, three levels of sports sessions will prepare players for weekly competitions throughout the season. Soccer, flag football, basketball and T-ball are offered.

Quote-of-the-Month for Kids

Each month we'll feature a new quote for you to discuss with your children. The next time you bring them to the Y, they can talk with any of our department directors about the meaning of the quote for the month. All participants receive a small prize for their efforts.

The quote for this month is:

"Giving is the lifeblood of happy living."
