Please e-mail your competition recipe to: mary.riddick@peninsulaymca.org

Plan an Event and Help Your Communityluau 2008 table decorations

The Victory YMCA is now forming committees to organize the Luau event set for Saturday, August 15, 2009. This event is our annual fundraiser for our Strong Communities Campaign. We need party planners and people to help with planning, decorating, collecting auction items, silent auction set up, ticket sales, and sponsorship sales.

In 2008, the Victory Family YMCA will provide assistance to over 6,500 youths and teens from our community.  We anticipate the need to rise even more in 2009. With your assistance, these children will participate in quality programs such as swim lessons, after school childcare, summer camp, teen nights, youth sports and outreach programs.  Your participation in the Luau helps our entire community by allowing the Victory Family YMCA to instill positive character values and offering an enriching environment to come together as a community. The Victory Family YMCA makes your community a better place to live and work.

For more information contact Donna Blake, Community Development Director, at (757) 867-3300 x 212.
