The Victory YMCA challenged all members to participate in a nationwide movement called Activate America the week of September 21 - 28th. YMCAs across the nation challenged members to get moving towards healthier lifestyles and to lead active lives. Here at the Victory YMCA, our members were challenged to help us meet a goal of 13 million steps in just this one week time period. By the end of the week, we reached our goal and actually achieved 21,090,614 steps! Way to go Victory YMCA members!
We would like to recognize our two outstanding participants and the steps they achieved. Ron MacGregor was our standout male participant with 148,630 steps. Next, Martha Cueva had an impressive 206,413 steps total at the end of the week. Thank you both for helping the Victory YMCA step forward in the right direction!

The Victory YMCA would like to also thank Coventry Elementary, Bethel and Poquoson After School Programs, the Aquatics Department, Teen Department, Wellness Department, and Group Exercise Department. Without your help and support, the program would not have been successful!
