Happy New Year friends! Hopefully, the cold and snow has not dampened your gardening spirit! We are gearing up for spring and can't wait for April! New products are arriving daily in the garden center and our greenhouses are filling up with plants growing for spring sales. Why not stop into Otten Bros. today? So what does the detour sign mean?! The Long Lake bypass has officially opened, the road and signage are a bit confusing, and it is easy to miss the exit ramps to downtown Long Lake and Otten Bros. Watch carefully for the Wayzata Blvd., County Road 6, or downtown Long Lake signs and ramps. We wouldn't want you to drive by and miss us!

We've Got Your Look

I know you have all seen HGTV. With the magic of computers, the designers take a photo and create a computer image of what the finished design will look like. Wouldn't it be cool to see your house's landscape design in 3-D before the first shovel of dirt was moved?

OTTEN BROS CAN DO JUST THAT! Bring in photos of your existing landscape (it's okay if they are winter pictures) on a CD or flash drive. Watch our Landscape Designers do a bit of computer magic. They will transform your picture into a 3-D idea of what your new landscape could look like.

Top 5 List

I know this isn't the David Letterman Show...but we thought a Top 10 recap (trimmed to the top 5) of some of the community projects Otten Bros. participated in this past year might be fun.

5. Otten Bros. donated over 600 trees to local residents during our Arbor Day/Earth Day events.

4. Over ONE TON of fresh produce was brought to the Flower Farm by local gardeners and donated to the food shelf though our involvement in Plant a Row for the Hungry.

3. Otten Bros. Give & Grow Fundraiser Program gave out over $2000 to local organizations.

2. Otten Bros. donated and planted a 20ft spruce tree in downtown Delano to be used every year as their city Christmas tree.

1. Bikes were collected at Otten Bros. and fixed up by the Road Kill Cycling club & Free Bikes 4 Kidz. Over 180 bikes were given away to deserving kids!
