English Speakers
Teaching the Young English Speaker
A comprehensive K - 10th grade curriculum. A.H.A.V.A.'s 15 hour course provides you with practical skills and knowledge to improve your teaching. 

Learn how to teach the fundamentals as well as the creative. We start with how to teach reading, writing, spelling, and then continue with creative writing, English poetry and literature.

In addition you will hear about our special programs like the Readathon, our Academic Fair, visiting authors, and our Writing Contest.

Every participant will receive a curriculum booklet which includes the outline of the course.

Hebrew Speakers
Teaching Hebrew Speaking children to speak English
A comprehensive 15 hour course provides you with practical skills and knowledge to improve your teaching and/or help you initiate small group learning in your area, for Hebrew speaking students. You will learn how to run school small group sessions to teach nursery - 6th grade children how to speak in English.

Come to hear about techniques such as story telling, games, songs and more.

Every participant will receive a curriculum booklet and a tape/CD of songs used alongside the curriculum.

Each 15-hour course costs 450 NIS.
All courses includes relevent course materials, tea/coffee and a raffle entry for a nice prize. Upon completion each attendee will receive a diploma.
