Differentiated Classroom Teaching
The school year of 2009-10 is proving to be a very exciting one for our students, especially the 2nd-4th graders of Mitzpe Yericho. This class is being taught in a new method, more similar to a learning center than to frontal teaching.
checking out library books Every student can choose what they prefer    to work on at any given moment, and keep track of their own work on personal achievement charts.
Surprisingly, all students work much harder, are progressing faster AND are really having fun! "I love English" is not an unheard of sentence in A.H.A.V.A.
READING TREEreading tree
A.H.A.V.A. students are all participating in our reading tree - for every book they read in the next 3 weeks a leaf will be added to the bare reading tree. READ READ READ is A.H.A.V.A's motto!!
