Wine Tasting Dinners are Back!

Beginning on July 10th at 7:30 pm we will have the first wine dinner of the Summer at
the Beach!  Five special wines from Amy Atwood Selections paired with Farmer's Market inspired dishes.  Tickets are available now!

We're always looking for cool new locations, so if you know of a great house for a future dinner, let us know!
White HouseKidding Around the Kitchen  
A good friend of Provisions, Lisa Fontanessi, had the opportunity to visit the White House last weekend.  Michelle Obama's new initiative, "Chefs Move to School" had a kick-off event to promote bringing chefs to schools to teach healthy eating and reduce childhood obesity.  Please check out Lisa's cook book for kids  - teaching your kids to cook is great activity for the Summer!!

Father's Day Recipe

Blue Cheese
Cole Slaw


This recipe feeds 12-15 people.  My family likes leftovers, so feel free to half the recipe for a smaller crowd! 

1 small head shredded red cabbage
1 small head shredded green cabbage
8 carrots shredded
1 cup chopped Italian Parsley

Cobmine the following in a bowl:
2 cups Mayo
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1/3 cup apple cider vgr
2 Tbs celery salt
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp peppar
2 cups crumbled Roquefort or other blue cheese

Combine above with cabbage/carrots/parsley.  This can be prepared one day ahead of time.
