We finally have a proper bakery east of La Brea! O.K., really east, but completely worth the trip! Owners Richard Williams and Barbara Monderine are fabulous and they are constantly coming up with new artisinal breads or gorgeous pastries. I am particularly excited about the authentic cannoli!! The pastry in the photo above is a Lemon Rosemary Almond Olive Oil Cake. It was delicious. Also ask for the Pan Forte de Siena Cake. Not to be missed!!
