Hi from everyone at PROVISIONS!  The Month of May is full of holidays and events!  Starting with MAY DAY - the first of May is always a welcome excuse to hang out with Socialists.  There is the tequila soaked Cinquo de mayo, Mother's Day and at the end of the month, a much needed long weekend known as Memorial Day.  But they all have one thing in common - an excuse to eat great food.  If you don't have the time or inclination, we're here for you.  After all, why should you cook??!

Our premiere UNDERGROUND WINE TASTING DINNER was held in a beautiful Penthouse Loft (pictured above) with stunning art and views of downtown.  It was a huge success (see menu and wines below!)and we can't wait to do it all over again on June 6th!
A special thank you to Amy Atwood, David Forbes and the fabulous mushrooms from hokto-kinoko.

The next dinner will also be held in an amazing loft down town and be comprised of five courses matched with some of our favorite wines.

The location will be provided when you confirm your reservation.
Space is limited so reserve your spot soon.

Claudio Blotta(formerly Managing Partner and Wine Director of CAMPANILE and LA TERZA) just opened BARBRIX in Silver Lake.  I had the pleasure of attending opening night and the food is spectacular!!  All of chef Don Dickman's bite size plates can be shared or enjoyed individually.  Be sure to order the Halibut and the farro salad!  Support our newest addition to the Silver Lake great dining experience!  And ask Claudio to show you the special meat slicer that he brought back from his home town of Buenos Aires.  It looks like a piece of art!

Strange but true.

My favorite thing about May . . . the Eurovision Song Contest.  Before AMERICAN IDOL - there was the Eurovision Song Contest.  This year it is being held in Moscow from May 12th - 16th.  Check it out on YOUTUBE.

ABBA won in 1974.  Can you name another band that has won since??
We can't, but bad has never been so good.

Clara's 1st Birthday/Evelyn's 10th Birthday
We had a great time celebrating our favorite photographers Cat and Adi's daughter Clara's birthday.  As always Cat and Adi took beautiful pictures of all the adorable kids and of course our yummy food.  Clara is pictured below taking her first bite of a PROVISIONS mini red velvet cupcake!  And lastly, Happy Birthday to my niece Evelyn Rose (pictured below at last years celebration) who turns 11 on May 25th!
