You see, just as you as a Realtor (or you the owner) are charged with showing and representing a property to the best of your abilities, the property you list should be a good representative of your professional integrity. If you're thinking of selling your home or are a Realtor with listings, now's the time to evaluate your "product". Take a good look at your home/listing; see it through the eyes of a Buyer. Is the yard in need of TLC? Does the current furniture placement and décor enhance or detract from the square footage and assets of the home? What about minor repairs? Have they been made, or is that light switch still dangling on the wall in the bedroom? Can you walk through the rooms without tripping over clutter? Trust me, a buyer or fellow Realtor, is not only evaluating the Sellers and their house but also the Listing Agent. Haven't you ever mumbled to yourself upon seeing a less than ideal listing: "Why would Agent X even list this house?"
