"Walk the Block/Block the Blight" with Jericho Road

Jericho Road in collaboration with New Orleans Neighborhood Development is supporting a resident led effort to fight blight in some Uptown Neighborhoods.  The Faubourg Delassize and Faubourg Lafayette neighborhood associations are conducting a survey of property in their neighborhoods.

Residents use this survey to develop a strategy around targeting the worst blighted properties in the community.  Jericho Road also uses the information as a bases for our revitalization strategy.  This annual survey has been conducted by members of the community since 2008.  22 residents and 20 volunteers participated in the survey last year.
