You let us choose, O God,
between you and the false gods of this world.
In the midst of the night of sin and death,
and call us forth to greet Christ,
so that with eyes and hearts fixed on Him,
we may follow to eternal light. Amen.

Addictions Recovery Ministry Receives New Chaplain
Mtr. DeeDee Estes has accepted the call to be the next ARM Chaplain. Long time chaplain to the ministry, Fr. Bill Terry notified the the Bishop earlier this year that he would be stepping down from the post of Chaplain to the Addictions Recovery Ministry (ARM). The ministry extends thanks and gratitude to Fr. Terry for his support and insight since succeeding Fr. Miller Armstrong in this role.
Mtr. Estes begins her chaplaincy effective immediately. A licensed psychologist, Mtr. Estes is in her tenth year of school chaplaincy at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in New Orleans where she leads weekly worship services, teaches religion classes, coordinates community service and provides pastoral care and counseling services for students, parents, faculty and staff.
The Addictions Recovery Ministry thanks Bishop Thompson for his efforts in this matter and his ongoing support for the ministry.
